i have a cat, mama named him kontot.
yesterday, he went meow-ing loudly at my door. when i opened the door, his body language signaled that he wanted me to follow him. down we went to the kitchen and there i saw a grey tomcat sitting on the counter like a boss. i shooed the grey tomcat out of the house.
upon hearing, mama commended that kontot is a smart cat, he reports anomalies and takes care of his turf well.

a return
I wandered away, testing new waters, meeting new people. Only to discover it is still here, in this circle, am most happy.

pretty little things
I was seated wrapped in the armchair, slowly sinking into its softness, with the front door only slightly ajar just so the cats can walk in and out of the house freely. Softly sighed the evening breeze moving gentle into the house caressing strands of my hair ever so tenderly. That earthy scent which accompanied the rain lingered, causing a feeling of calm and peacefulness to wash over me.
What an evening to enjoy a good book, I thought, smiling to myself.
here comes the sun
I wasn't aware that Yuna made a gorgeous cover of The Beatles' Here Comes the Sun for the movie, Savages (2012). Nope, I've not seen the flick but movie critiques haven't been too kind claiming that the director, Oliver Stone, has lost his movie mojo. And we are talking about the screenwriter of Evita (1996) and Nixon (1995). Oh well, perhaps I'll have to check it out myself.

the story begins
I just remembered that I used to find
writing therapeutic.
Naturally, one who took pleasure in writing, in this day and age, would've owned a blog. Oh yes, I used to write a blog. Started pouring into the blog in 2005, it got abandoned as soon as I took the plunge, and things got a little heavy on work front. Somehow, now, I feel like I needed that outlet again; a mind dump, a place where I could toy with words, helping relieve moments of ordinary suffering. Dramatic much, innit? ;o)
I guess the story begins now.
